Xmas

This is my Xmas reef. The Items on here is all drawn on google drawings. We have 4 reel Xmas tree decorations on my reef. & the reast are just nomarl Xmas.

This is my Xmas wish list. The things on the green thing re the stuff I want for Xmas. My most thing favourite on there is the short-haired sausage dog. we used to have one but he past away when I was 5.

This is my Xmas raping paper. It is based on Kiwiana. They might be traced but it does look cool. You might be thinking that the warriors Kiwiana but if you think about it. It is because they are a New Zealand rugby team.  

FIRE

With Mrs Kenidy I did how to make a fire. fist we had to make a fire pit. Then we had to put down some small sticks and wool. And after that, we had to have a go at trying to start the flint and steel. I had ten go's and I manage to get sparks. We tried to start a fire but it did not work because it was too windy. 

FOOD

For my last rotation, I did cooking as you can see from the title. We made baked potato also chocolate bananas. I gave my baked potato to Jared because I don't like a baked potato. When I tasted the chocolate banana it was very sticky from the marshmallows. But the banana was very bernt and just was soggy.

ORIENTEERING

For orienteering, my group (KĀKĀS) was the first group to finish. Not to brag but we did win. It was hard to find the clues but we managed to do it. Me and Harmen pick a spot on the map and went their why the other part of the group went to a defiant marker. And in the end, there was a rittle that we had to solve and it was... What do bears call campers in a sleeping bag? if You no the answer leave a comment down below.

The man. “I am going to get rid of the shop so I can get some money”

 The shoes. “No you are not, you have been living here for too long and if you do leave where

are you going to go”

The man. “ I am going to live in New York.

The shoes. “Is that wight”

The man. “Yes, it is”. 

The shoes. “Look, the new house you have got are you allowed to have alive shoes that can
stay there”

The Man. “look This comether satiation is over we will talk in the morning”

The Shoes. “ I have an idea, Why don’t we train the dog shoes. And then we give them to 4
the man and then let them take the man away forever.

The man. “Good idea, I will go get the shoes & paint them”

The shoes. “Its nelly go time”

The Man. “ Here I go” 

The shoes. “ Good luck”

The man walked out of the store on over to the man.

The Man. “ Here you go”

And the shoes took The man with his walking stick to his mum’s house which is all the
way on the only land on the moon. 

 & that’s my persuasive Argument. 

Back pac

This is the sivivle back pac that I would take to the wild. I have two bottles of water so I don't have to drink my pee because that is yuck. I have a compass so if I get lost in the bush I know where to go. & I wouldn't know where to go if it wasn't for Miss Sowldens rotation. 

Fabfinish

This is my last fabulous finish for me being a year five. I did pop-outs of Lu. Under the hat is... Albino, because in the book Lu is albino. And under the right arm is big muscles. Because if you are on a track team on and you are not strong you will not get really far with what you are doing. Under the shoes are Nike Airs, so he can run fast and go the extra mile. Under the left arm is long arms, okay Lu is pretty tall so he would need long arms so he doesn't look like a T rex.

1, Start digging on a wet patch of dirt and dig a hole and then get a pan and kind of gold mind it. at a creek. 2, Then if that doesn't work you can go to a creek and then drink the water from there. 3, drink your pee.

1, you should build you shelter on flat ground so you don't go stumbling down the hill. 2, Build your shelter on high ground so if a flood happens you will survive. 3, do not build you shelter by water because of the high tide comes up.

1, when you build you fire make shore you have some water in your water bottle so you can put the fire out if it get out of contrel. 2, When you make your fire you have to have small stiks to start off with. 3, And then put the big stiks on.

Fishing & adventure is my favourite tv show. Their names are Scot, Mig & there skipper Ben. when they go fishing they have a challenge & if they do not complete the challenge, they have to do a punishment. Along there shoe, they show you how to do tips & tricks on fishing. Their home town is Raglin witch is based it the mighty  Waikato. They have a Surtees boat like what we have. But we are so lucky because… we get to see them every year in April for the Surtees fishing comp in Whakatane. & some times they are at the boat show. They are in the Surtees section next to ben brown the guy from Bult To Fish tv. They have a cool t-shirt that you can buy from there website. I have some but not a lot. “Only 4”. But still not a lot. “& 5 hats. If you want to you can go on to youtube and watch some of the videos that they post. 

CHAPTER CHAT TERM 4 WEEK 5

For Chapter Chat this week I did my Pick 'n' mix. I drew Ghost in his track uniform. The background is with crayon and the rest is cooler. In the novel so far, everyone was getting their track uniform. But Ghost didn't get his he got a... A bit of paper that seed shoplifter. If you don't know what I am talking about. In the novel, he stole a pair of shoes because they were too expensive so he put them in his bag and left the store. Before that happened he left school because kids were lighting at him. For my last task for our server for this rotation. I am in the Knowledge Seekers & we are doing knots to ty in the forest.  The first knot is the Figer 8 not. The Figer 8 knot is the easiest knot I have ever done in my life. All you do is make a lop and then go frow throw the back of the lop.
The next knot is the reef knot. This knot is so easy, but so strong. You have to get your left side of your rope to the right side of the rope, and then go throw the circle and repeat that but by going the other way.  Last by not least, The bowline knot. I forgot how to do this not but here is a video on how to do it. the bowline knot is yous for lots of knots. we yous them for fishing... for our Kingfish, Snapper and baitfish. There are heaps of fishing knots that you can yous on fish.  I rate the Figer 8 kont a 5/5 because when I pull on it, it does not move it stays where it is so it would be good to try anything to it. I rate the reef, knot 4/5. because of the way it moves up and down the rope it wants to stay on a fish hook. But its would stay on a washing line and that why I am giving it a 4/5. And last but not least the bowline knot. A 5/5, it is a strong knot. and we yous it for fishing and all our fish hold and we get lots of fish. 

Torpedo 7 Kakas Tent

For my second task for our survivor, was a bush shelter. We made it with tarpaulin & rope. We managed to get the tent looking like the tent that we wounted it to. look like.

Kaka Tent Ideas

The first tent we are aiming to create is called the A-frame. 
An A-frame is a structure where you use 2 sturdy trees to help your structure stand. 
The benefits of this tent is that it is quick and easy to build.
It is also waterproof, even when it’s pouring down hard, this tent will stay up and protect you. 
We chose this structure because it’s simple and looks sturdy.
We also chose this structure because we think it’ll be fun to work as a team and create the A-frame.   

                          

The second structure our team will be creating is called the lean-to. The lean-to is a structure where you pitch a tent between two strong trees.  The lean-to specializes in keeping the wind out. You put one long side the way the wind is blowing. It is also good when you're building a fire because you can build it closer to you so the wind can't blow it out. 
As a team, we chose this structure because it can keep the wind out and most of all because it looked cool.

• Where is the best place to build a shelter? 

On the ground but find somewhere, where is, is dry, not wet because you want to stay nice and warm. Do not put your fort on a steep hill en less it is tied to a tree because you will go down the steep hill.    

• What does the shelter need to protect you from?

 The rain, if you get wet just like in the last question you need to stay nice and warm. Animals because if you get attack by and animal you need to have an exit door.  

• What materials could you use to build a shelter? 

Rope to ty your trees to your fort. Because if you don’t have anything to ty your branches, you fort will brake. Tarplolin. To sleep on if it is raining. And to put it on top of your fort so you don’t get wet.    

• What are some pros and cons of sleeping in a bush shelter?

One of the pros would be that there is lots of food around, & it’s sunny maybe that you get a good night sleep. A con would be, is not sunny there is no food you are wet and cold and you only have a tarpaulin.

This week for Chapter Chat week 3 term 4. In the book so far Ghost went to a newbies dinner & he tolled every one at the table that... His dad was shooting at him in his own home. For my chapter chat task, I made some characters from our book. I made Ghost & Lue. Ghost Is the one at the top and lue is at the bottom. Lue is fully wight because he is Albano. 

Chapter chat week 2 term 4.

This is my second task for week 2 and it is a research centre. You had to research about shoes. The shoes I have got Nike, under armour and yeezys. I just did my 100-meter sprint and I got 16.58 seconds. In our book so far Ghost stole a pair of shoes and he is not taking them back. He was going to asks his mum but the price was too high. So he put them in his bag and left the sporting goods shop.

for my calender art, I did an underwater sean. The green fish is a kingfish the birds are ducks the small fish are snapper. there are 2 sharks 1 octopus and 1 eel. I want to be getting a calendar art because I did my own one at home and now I am getting it sent it in my mum's work.

This is my first chapter chat task for term 4. we are reding the book ghost it is a book related to a running track called the defenders. The weighing on the picture is. This is another bb on the b. But is one of the optional Chapter Chat task. This is what I would tack to a desert. As you can see in the photo I am a Nike fan. & you need a first ade kit what happens if you get heart.  A phone to call you family. A dog to catch pigs. and sunglasses to keep the sun away from my eyes.

This is my first blog on the block. My holiday is based in Fiji. I will be doing... On the plane to Fiji, Sleeping and having fun, Fishing, Swim in heaps of pools, Water park time. & Beach day, Quiet night at the hotel & Flying back home to New Zealand.

This is my Fabilsh finish. Yay Yay. I made a bord game by myself. On Friday we watch the Holes movie. In the board game, I made it so you can get cards & if you get a card you have to do what is says. and there are holes and if you land in one you have to go back to the start.

This week it is the last week for chapter chat. And we will be doing our Fabilsh finish. I did away with words. This is what I put down.    

To Mum. 

At camp today we went to the biggest rock climbing wall in the whole of Texas. The bed I am in is a super king & the boy before I was called Cool boy. For dinner, we have pizza every knight & we get it delivered to our own bedroom. I have a friend called Zero & he is the strongest in the hole west.

It is great to see you are having a good time at camp the house at the moment smells like shoes. Don't you think it is a bit strange that you went to the good camp for doing something bad? I love you. Send me a new letter when every you can. xoxoxoxoxox                

    

Fantastic favorite

This week I did a creation station. This is all of the stuff I will need in the desert. You might be thinking some of this stuff I don't need like the dog food but how will the dog eat. And the onion, well in the book there was a man who loved onions and he sold them for 8c. The coca colas are for me. The water is for the dog. The car is to get everywhere I need to go.

This week I did a  challenge again but this week is my pick & mix. I did it on an ad spark over there is a link to go onto the Video. As you can see I did it by myself. I was going to work with Jared but. 1 We didn't know how to share it. 2 I worked with a buddy last week.

Chapter Chat Week 3 Tram 3

I hade to do an invention and you hade to make something. So I made an Animal Chair. You have wood as the chair and then you put Animal skin on top of it. It has three different Animals on the chair. My chair has 4 cup holders, deer antlers on the top of the chair & three cows. sorry didn't have Entuth room the put the deer antlers on the chair.  And the chair has arms on it put the photo I got had no arms. See you next week. Oh, and it is only Mondy isn't that cool.
